Okay so like I said my friend and I went on our girls weekend to California.  We rented a car because we both flew and we rented a SMALL car because we are both mom’s of several children and we need a "mom-car" break...  So as the story goes we get to the car rental store and I ask the guy with hope in my voice, “which car do we have?”  He replied with no hope in his voice, “if you push the panic button you will see the car.”  We both thought that answer was a little strange but okay...

Out we go to find our "LITTLE" car and I push the panic button.  The lights on this minivan flash!  I say to my friend, “well that van is for sure not ours because we rented something little and economical.  I have no idea why the lights are flashing on that mom car over there... So I push the button again.  Yeah the lights on the mom car flash again!  We both say together, “You have got to be kidding!!”  We laughed and got into our mom car for the big weekend without the kids.  Is it too much to ask that we not drive a minivan every time we turn around?  There is nothing that makes you feel more like a mom than a minivan. Okay and let’s just mention how hard it is to rent a big car when you actually need it for the family!  UGH! HAHA... It reminds me of a phrase Jeff says his older sister used to tell him when he was growing up, "try to be cool, look like a fool".
