That’s right that little baby left for college last week.  Okay so he wasn’t that little when he left but you know how you can’t really deal watching some “little” babies grow up and leave home?!  This is Ava’s oldest son (my big sister).  I saw him take his first breath of life on that December day 18 years ago...  He screamed a lot!  He taught me I should really wait to have kids a few more years.  He came into our life 6 months before I got married.  Mom and I actually took him with us when I went to try on wedding gowns in Mexico (that’s another story) while my sister worked...  I never knew babies cried so much until my sister had him.  He would only sleep in a car and only if it was driven a certain speed.  Talk about demanding!!  You know those first borns they demand the world and we all actually try to meet most of their demands.  No one else gets to demand such things after them because later everyone learns the tricks...

He grew up pretty good though.  He did grow out of that screaming stage and actually became an amazing kid!  His talents amaze me and his sweet personality is one that touches many.  I actually have a niece that went to college this year as well as steven..  They are both incredible people.  Unfortunately I never lived close to my sweet niece but I would have loved too!  Babies growing into big people is nothing but amazing to watch!!  Watching a little baby become a man or a women gives perspective on the measurement of time.  So here’s to college and all that waits for all those little babies that have grown into men or women and are now out there to see what it takes to actually meet others demands on their own!  They will be missed but what fun to watch them become who they were meant to be!
